Originally constructed as the Third Street Elementary School and later the home of Pitt County Schools Central Services offices, this landmark structure will live on as a vibrant new community center.  The multipurpose room will provide a true multi-function event space, while classrooms will provide after school programs and a variety of learning environments as well as office space for work force development programs.

 

Scope included:

 

  • Extensive code evaluations 

 

  • Project was approved for the change of use and change of occupancy, under the 2009 Rehabilitation Code.  This was the first use of the Rehabilitation Code in the City of Greenville. 

 

  • New ADA restrooms throughout
